Brothers and Sisters from all over the world come to enjoy a vacation unlike any other. Some return year after year after having enjoyed the encouragement and fellowship of the local brothers and needgreaters.

"Mi casa es tu casa" (my house is your house) is a warm heartfelt expression of hospitality among the Hispanic people and is truly also the motto of Tropical Island Bed & Breakfast where brothers feel right at home, whether it be relaxing on the veranda or in the living room playing cards, looking at DVDs, or using the computer to write friends back home.

A simple breakfast buffet, varied each morning, is served between 7:45 & 8:00 a.m.
Guests enjoy an array of fresh tropical fruits in season, juices , eggs & ham accompanied by one of the following selections: pancakes, potato-cheese torta, , home fries, fried platanos, or yucca .
Choice of: our traditional island cereal: hot "avena de chocolate" or fresh yogurt served with almond granola. An assortment of fresh bakery breads & "biscochos" [carrot, banana cake, etc.] served
with tropical fruit jams & locally made Dominican mozzarella cheese. Our Dominican coffee, famous for its aroma & unique smooth full-bodied taste, is served with a special chocolate liqueur or Dominican rum.

Note: Due to the early meeting Sunday mornings, only a simple or "continental breakfast" is served.

While a standard bed & breakfast comes with just accommodations and breakfast, Tropical Island Bed & Breakfast has designed three unique vacation plans, in addition to our Basic Plans, to accommodate the needs of our visiting brothers

Our Economy packages include airport pick up and return, breakfast each morning in buffet, use of the kitchen after two o'clock in the afternoon, housekeeping services, computer/internet service and all the help you need by our social hostess to learn where to go, what to do and how to get there. 8-Day Economy

Semi-Inclusive Packages include airport pick up and return, accommodations, tropical breakfast in buffet, and personal chauffeuring to all activities on suggested itinerary. The Semi-Inclusive has been created for a Weekend Getaway through a 14-day visit. Very economical for groups coming together who share the expenses.

While our standard bed & breakfast arrangement comes with a buffet breakfast & the usual features of a bed & breakfast, many brothers & sisters have requested to have everything arranged for them upon visiting the Dominican Republic because they are coming on their anniversary or honeymoon. They prefer having brothers pick them up, chauffer them around, arrange meals at restaurants, take them to the beaches and other activities for the day. For this reason, the 5-Day All Inclusive, 6-Day All Inclusive and 7-Day All Inclusive have been created.

The All-Inclusive Vacation Plan is only available for two persons. For more than two persons, we suggest the Semi-Inclusive plan which is much more flexible, less expensive, and practical arrangement for groups.

Unique All-inclusive Packages have also been created for special celebrations such as honeymoons, anniversaries, special gifts for graduation or for mom and dad. These are for a limited number of persons and days.

Each room equpped with: TV, DVD player with large selection of movies, computer & internet service. Comfortable queen size beds with posturepedic mattresses. No charge for children 6 & under in room with parents. TIBB is not equipped for guests to cook heavy meals, but guests may use the kitchen after 3:00 p.m. for light cooking. Also a microwave oven is available for heating up food. Check-in Time: 12 noon	10% Gratuities Rooms with air-conditioning: A room for one person with air-conditioning is $5 US a day additional. Rooms for two or more persons with air-conditioning are $8 US a day additional. Electrical cuts throughout the day are common in all parts of the country. During these times there is no air-conditioning.TIBB, however, does have a battery-powered inverter system that permits use of overhead fans, TV, lights, & computer during these times Check-out Time: 11:30 a.m.
